Hair Implantation THE FUE HAIR BY HAIR GREEK TECHNIQUE
A large part of the male population "suffers" today from alopecia. 20-25% of men by the age of 30 have lost much of his hair and 50-55% has suffered the same at the age of 45-50 years old. Today we have made a great effort and there are hopeful messages, that in future generations there will be selective intervention in genes which are responsible for hereditary alopecia or with stem cells injected directly into the affected area. The limitations
Remember that there are restrictions as to the final outcome. The patient with sparse or weak hair might not be a good candidate, as the donor area might be also weak. The operation provides spectacular and natural results. Men primarily with very large deficit may also need a second operation in order to obtain hair with absolute density. The FOLLICLE technique A very small round cutter is used to remove individual hair follicles. With the use of local anesthesia the above mentioned cutter is used for removal of separate individual hair follicles from the donor area. The diameter of the incisor varies from 0.3 to 0.9 mm. The round small mark on the skin heals itself in the coming days. The cuttings are separated with the help of microscopes, special lenses and special surgical instruments. Each graft which is extracted contains from 1 to 4 hair follicles for use in front or behind the skull. Then the surgeon makes holes of 1 mm diameter, where he places the hair follicles one by one. With this method, there may be up to 40% loss of hair follicles that are placed. This happens because of the discomfort of the hair follicles when exported. This method does not include incision in the donor area. Postoperatively Postoperatively the patient feels perfect physically and psychologically also. There are no bandages on one’s head and he can wash his hair with gentle movements the next day only in the donor area and after the 4th day around the head. The stitches in the donor area (there are only in technique of strip) are removed on the 10th day and leave no obvious sign. The patient should also avoid any strenuous physical activity (gym, lifting heavy objects) for at least one month. He will be given clear instructions for bathing and sleeping for the first few weeks. After that period (approximately 3 months) the hair will start to grow normally. Results Six months after the operation, the hair has grown up to 3 cm, and 1 year later the hair is of standard length as of the rest Satisfaction Rate Everyone who has undergone this procedure can confirm that is quite simpler than he expected it to be and when asked if he would do it again, everybody replies with flying colours. The STRIP technique
This
technique is based on grafts removed from the back of the scalp as a
strip in order to be split with the use of special magnifiers by
expertized people who cut every two or three hair follicles. At the end
of this process the grafts are placed in special slots opened (a hair in
each slot). Tampering with this method the maximum exploitation of
grafts, it provides 99% success with permanent growth after
transplanting and the result does not differ at all from natural hair.
The intervention takes place in organized clinic, lasts approximately
2.5 hours and is done under local anesthesia. During the treatment the
person does not feel pain or discomfort, while listening to music,
reading or watching TV. At the end of surgery the complainant can return
to his house wearing only a hat. |
